Our emergency dental treatments

Knocked-out or displaced teeth
A tooth that's been knocked completely out of the socket is a true emergency. Getting your child to us within 30 minutes gives us the best chance of saving the tooth. If the tooth is still available, rinse it gently with water (don't scrub it) and try to place it back in the socket if possible. If you can't do that, place it in a cup of milk or save your child's saliva in a container to keep it alive. Our pediatric dentists will assess the tooth, stabilize it, and create a treatment plan to protect your child's smile long-term.

Severe tooth pain
If your child is experiencing sharp, persistent tooth pain, there's usually an underlying reason—decay, an infection, or damage to the nerve. Our dentists will take X-rays to identify the problem and provide relief. Whether it's a simple filling, a deeper treatment like a pulpotomy, or management of an abscess, we'll get to the root of the pain and solve it efficiently.

Cracked, chipped, or fractured teeth
Accidents happen. A fall, a hit during sports, or a bite on something hard can crack or chip a child's tooth. Depending on the severity and which tooth is affected, we may smooth the rough edge, place a filling, or recommend a crown to restore the tooth and prevent further damage. Our advanced technology lets us complete most repairs in a single appointment, so your child doesn't have to live with a broken tooth while waiting for follow-up care.

Mouth injuries and trauma
Injuries to the gums, cheeks, tongue, or lips need to be evaluated to rule out serious complications. We'll clean and assess the injury, control any bleeding, and provide guidance on care and healing. If multiple teeth are involved or if there's damage to the bone or soft tissue, we'll coordinate appropriate treatment to preserve your child's oral health.

Infections and abscesses
A dental infection (abscess) is a serious condition that requires prompt treatment to prevent the infection from spreading. Signs include swelling, pus, fever, or a persistent bump on the gums. Our dentists will treat the source of the infection, usually through a pulpotomy or extraction, and may prescribe antibiotics to support healing. Same-day care for infections prevents complications and gets your child feeling better fast.
