We encourage parents not make a big deal out of the visit and refrain from using any words that could cause unnecessary fear, such as “needle” or “drill.” We are experienced in dealing with patients with anxiety and can explain treatment procedures in a positive and pleasant manner to avoid any anxious or negative feelings toward dentistry.

We will record the child’s dental and medical history, complete a comprehensive examination and discuss any findings with you. We will also review the importance of maintaining a good dental health program with you and your child to ensure a healthy and beautiful smile for life!

Parents should take their children to the dentist regularly, beginning with the sighting of their first tooth. At that time, the dentist can make a personalized plan for your child’s brushing, flossing, and other treatments. These home treatments, when added to regular dental visits and a balanced diet, will help give your child a lifetime of healthy habits.

One of the important things in Pediatric dentistry is :

Get it done age one

1 + 1 = ZERO

  • ONE dental visit when there’s ONE tooth can equal ZERO cavities.
  • Visiting a pediatric dentist by the time the first baby tooth appears enables the child to begin a lifelong preventive dental care program to minimize tooth decay and cavities. If you start seeing a Pediatric dentist early in life, it sets up your child to have less anxiety and better dental health.
  • Pediatric dentists can detect early tooth decay, provide parents with information on
  • proper oral and facial development, determine fluoride needs and more.
