Hazar Jaber is the CEO of Happy Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics and is deeply driven by the practice’s mission and vision. She is passionate about building a strong, happy, kind, and open-minded team that shares a common purpose and is committed to caring for others as if they were family.

Hazar believes that exceptional care comes from aligned values, clear systems, and a culture where every team member feels supported and valued. Together with her team, she strives to create an environment where both patients and staff can truly thrive.

Hazar is an active member of several professional and community organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), the Washington State Pediatric Dentistry Association (WSPD), the Washington State Dental Association (WSDA), the Women in DSO organization, and Ninety Nine Girlfriends of Oregon, a philanthropic network dedicated to supporting community causes.

Brittany Cole

COO

Brittany Cole has been with Happy Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics since 2005 and serves as the Chief Operating Officer. She is a proud leader in pediatric dentistry and is passionate about building strong teams while delivering positive, consistent experiences for children and their families.

Her leadership is grounded in kindness, clear communication, and accountability. Brittany firmly believes that exceptional care begins with a supported and engaged team. She is dedicated to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and people-first decision-making to ensure the highest level of care.

Outside of work, Brittany cherishes time with her husband and children and is actively involved in her church community. She enjoys paddleboarding, cheering on her kids at their sporting events, and caring for her dog, cats, and chickens.

Brittany is an active member of several professional and community organizations, including the Women in DSO organization.

What she loves most about working at Happy Kids is being part of a family-oriented team that supports the community, builds lasting relationships, and makes a meaningful impact by helping children achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Kasey Butler

Clinical Director

Kasey Butler is the Clinical Director at Happy Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics, where she ensures that clinical operations run smoothly while maintaining strict adherence to WISHA protocols and best practices.

She is deeply committed to supporting her team by providing the tools, training, and resources they need to succeed. Kasey is also passionate about patient and parent education, believing that informed families play a key role in successful outcomes both during and between dental visits.

Her leadership focuses on consistency, quality care, and continuous improvement.

Her favorite thing about working at Happy Kids is the strong relationships she has built over the years. In fact, three of her seven bridesmaids are friends who began at Happy Kids and continue to this day.

Outside of work, she enjoys taking spin classes at the local studio Ride and Shine, baking sourdough, and spending time with her husband. Kasey is also a proud dog mom to two pups and never says no to a Diet Coke.

Jennifer Guerrero

Chehalis Office Manager

Jennifer Guerrero serves as the Office Manager at Happy Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics' Chehalis location. She helps lead a team built on a foundation of happiness, kindness, and dedication to those they serve.

Jennifer believes that a positive attitude and an open mind create the best experience for everyone who walks through the doors. Each team member is committed to providing thoughtful, compassionate care while continuously learning and growing.

Her favorite part of working at Happy Kids is her team and the joy they bring to the workplace.

A fun fact about Jennifer is that she also owns The Hop Shop, a small inflatable rental company.

Gabie Phillips

Communications Manager

Gabie Phillips grew up in Castle Rock, Washington, and graduated from Castle Rock High School. She has been in the dental field since 2021 and joined Happy Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics in 2023.

Gabie currently serves as the Communications Manager and developed a love for dentistry after enjoying trips to the dentist as a child. That experience inspired her to help create positive dental experiences for kids today.

In her free time, Gabie enjoys attending concerts and sporting events, visiting amusement parks, and spending time with her dog, Ollie. A fun fact about her is that her favorite flower is the dahlia.

Her favorite thing about working at Happy Kids is the fun, colorful, and upbeat atmosphere.

Kristine Hagdahl

Surgery Manager

Kristine Hagdahl coordinates surgeries across all Happy Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics locations. She ensures that dental surgeries run smoothly, schedules stay on track, and every child in need of dental surgery is scheduled promptly.

Outside of work, Kristine enjoys spending time with her family and watching her daughter excel in her sports, which keeps her very busy.

Her favorite thing about working at Happy Kids is being part of a great team alongside a strong leadership team.

Bianca Del Vecchio

Accounts Payable

Bianca Del Vecchio has been with Happy Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics since 2014 and manages accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing while supporting the organization’s financial operations.

She values organization, efficiency, and keeping processes running smoothly behind the scenes.

Her favorite thing about working at Happy Kids is supporting a team that makes a meaningful difference in children’s lives.

Outside of work, Bianca enjoys spending time with her toddler, snowboarding, and recently completing the construction of her family home. A fun fact about Bianca is that she is bilingual and loves creating special memories with her son.

Tristan Peterson

Revenue Cycle Manager

Tristan Peterson has been with Happy Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics since 2014 and serves as the Revenue Cycle Manager, leading the billing department and supporting insurance and billing processes.

She enjoys being part of Happy Kids because it feels like a family, offers opportunities to learn and grow, and allows her to help create happy, healthy smiles for children.

In her free time, Tristan enjoys spending time with her family, camping, candle-making, and rock hunting.

Mistie Butler

Production Manager

Mistie Butler joined Happy Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics in 2021 and serves as the Production Manager. She monitors schedules and production, adjusts staffing as needed, and helps ensure the clinic operates efficiently throughout the day.

Her goal is to support a well-run clinic by keeping schedules and staffing balanced so the team can focus on providing excellent care.

Mistie enjoys being part of Happy Kids because of its happy, kind, and supportive culture. She values the teamwork, open-minded approach, and dedication the team brings to improving children’s oral health.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and working on projects around the house.

A fun fact about Mistie is that she loves elephants and has always wanted a capuchin monkey as a pet.

Athena Williams

Federal Way 348th Office Manager

Athena Williams has been with Happy Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics since 2023 and serves as the Office Manager at the Federal Way 348th location.

Her mission is to make every child feel at home and every parent feel supported during their visits.

She chose Happy Kids because she loves working in an environment where strong values are not just discussed but truly lived.

Her favorite thing about working at Happy Kids is getting to know the families in the community.

Outside of work, Athena enjoys camping and spending time with her family.

Kimberly Ha

Auburn Office Manager

Kimberly Ha joined Happy Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics in 2024. She began her journey at the front desk and recently transitioned into the role of Office Manager for the Auburn location.

Kim supports her team and ensures that every patient and family leaves the office with the best experience possible.

A fun fact about Kim is that she loves traveling, especially to attend concerts and music festivals. She has seen her favorite artist perform ten times across more than ten different cities.

Her favorite part of working at Happy Kids is collaborating with a remarkable team to provide exceptional pediatric dental care to the community.

Victoria Smith

Headquarters & Public Relations Manager

Victoria Smith, who goes by the nickname Vika, has been part of the Happy Kids family since she was 16 years old. No matter where life has taken her, she has always found her way back to Happy Kids.

Today, she serves as the Headquarters and Public Relations Manager.

Vika values being part of a team that truly lives out its core values and is always ready to help, whether supporting colleagues or the families they serve.

Her favorite part of working at Happy Kids is the opportunity for both personal and professional growth.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son.

Diana Rodriguez-Tapia

Orthodontics Coordinator

Diana Rodriguez-Tapia has been part of Happy Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics since 2021 and serves as an Orthodontic Coordinator.

She and the orthodontic team work hard to ensure every child receives the care they need to achieve a healthy, bright smile through orthodontic treatment.

Diana is especially proud to see many children with special needs thriving through Happy Kids orthodontic care, which is one of the practice’s greatest achievements.

A fun fact about Diana is that you can almost always catch her wearing Christmas socks, even in the spring and summer.

One of her favorite things about working at Happy Kids is the strong bonds she has built with families over the years. She loves that when families come in, it feels comfortable and welcoming rather than just another dental office.

Maira Marchan

Federal Way 320th Office Manager

Maira Marchan has been with Happy Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics since 2021 and currently serves as the Office Manager at the Federal Way 320th location.

She is proud to work in a practice that truly supports one another like family while delivering outstanding care to patients.

Maira values being part of a team that genuinely cares about creating a positive and fun dental experience for every patient while also making a meaningful difference in the community.

Danyelle Bliss

Longview Office Manager

Danyelle Bliss has been with Happy Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics since 2017 and now manages the Longview office.

She is dedicated to creating a positive, fun, and stress-free environment for children and their families. Danyelle oversees daily operations and scheduling, communicates closely with patients and families, and supports the clinical team in delivering exceptional care.

Her goal is to ensure each visit is smooth and stress-free for parents while making it enjoyable and memorable for every child, all while fostering a happy and passionate team.

She especially loves seeing the smiles on kids’ faces when they arrive excited for their appointments and when they leave happy.

Outside of work, Danyelle enjoys spending time with her family and attending her children’s sporting events.

Becky O'Connor

HR Manager

Becky O’Connor has been with Happy Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics since 2019 and serves as the Human Resources Manager.

She is dedicated to building and supporting a team committed to strengthening the organization’s people, purpose, and the communities it serves.

Becky is passionate about fostering a workplace culture grounded in clarity, collaboration, and shared values. She finds her greatest professional joy in working alongside her teammates to bring that vision to life.

Outside of work, Becky treasures time with her family and embraces creative pursuits such as home improvement projects, dancing, costume design, and knitting.

A proud grandmother of three, she is fueled by faith, resilience, and the conviction that we can always become better than we were yesterday.

A fun fact about Becky is that she has explored 46 of the 50 states, enjoys riding her motorcycle, and can write backwards and upside down in cursive with both hands.
